Tamil Nadu’s next phase of economic growth could depend increasingly on faster execution, simpler approvals and stronger infrastructure, according to findings from a survey of 65 chief financial officers conducted by KPMG in collaboration with the CFO Board.

The survey indicates that businesses continue to show strong interest in expanding their operations in Tamil Nadu. About 92% of CFOs said access to growth capital was not a major barrier, while more than three-fourths expected additional capital expenditure in the state. However, respondents highlighted the speed and predictability of government processes as an important area for improvement.
