The Kerala State Lottery Department has started sales of tickets for the 2026 Pooja Bumper lottery. The bumper lottery carries a first prize of ₹12 crore, making it one of the major lottery draws in Kerala’s annual lottery calendar.

Ticket sales officially began on Monday, September 28, according to the Kerala Lottery Department. The Pooja Bumper is traditionally associated with the festive season and attracts interest from lottery customers across the state.

Kerala operates one of India’s most prominent state-run lottery systems, with regular weekly lotteries as well as special bumper draws connected with major occasions and festivals. The bumper draws generally feature larger prizes than ordinary weekly lotteries.

The launch of ticket sales is expected to generate interest among regular lottery buyers as well as people who purchase tickets during the festive season. Buyers are advised to obtain tickets only through authorised sellers and to keep their tickets safely until the official result is announced.

The ₹12-crore first prize is the major attraction of this year’s Pooja Bumper. Further prize categories will also be available according to the lottery scheme announced by the department.

The start of sales marks the beginning of another major festive-season lottery campaign in Kerala.
