HYDERABAD, September 18, 2026: Hyderabad is set to host the RISE Health Innovation Summit 2026 on September 24, bringing together senior leaders and professionals from the pharmaceutical, healthcare and biotechnology sectors for discussions on the future of life sciences and healthcare.

The summit, organised by Healthark, will be held at the Trident, Hyderabad, and will focus on emerging priorities shaping the global healthcare and life sciences ecosystem. The in-person event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Telangana Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs D. Sridhar Babu is scheduled to deliver the keynote address. Ajit Reddy, CEO of Invest Telangana, is also expected to participate, bringing policy and industry perspectives to the discussions.

The programme will feature discussions on the evolving role of Global Capability Centres (GCCs), healthcare innovation, genomics and biotechnology. The summit will also include conversations around India’s healthcare future and developments influencing the global life sciences sector.

Among the speakers are John Dawber of Novo Nordisk, Chandani Palshetkar of Opella, Pawan Sachdeva of Carelon Global Solutions and Mahesh Natarajan of Thermo Fisher Scientific, along with other senior industry professionals.

The event will also feature the launch of a book examining India’s Global Capability Centre opportunity, developed by Healthark with leaders from organisations including Opella, Roche, Novo Nordisk and Takeda.

A healthcare-sector skilling initiative launched in Hyderabad two years ago will also receive attention during the summit. The programme began with a pilot involving around 140 students across Telangana and has since expanded, with participating students, principals and HR leaders expected to be recognised at the event.

With healthcare, biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors undergoing rapid technological and organisational changes, the summit is expected to provide a platform for industry leaders to exchange ideas, discuss emerging opportunities and explore the next phase of healthcare and life sciences innovation.
