Officials warned that vendors found violating the rules could face penalties, licence cancellations, or legal action.
The Food Safety Department has announced that inspection drives will continue across popular food streets, markets, and roadside eateries in Chennai. Authorities are also encouraging the public to report unhygienic food practices through official complaint channels to help improve food quality across the city.
