Two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery in West Bengal were arrested while hiding in Chennai during a joint operation by the West Bengal Police and Chennai’s Maduravoyal Police. Authorities tracked the suspects to a relative’s residence in the city after receiving intelligence about their whereabouts.

Police officials said the coordinated interstate operation was carried out smoothly, leading to the arrest of both accused without any major incident. The suspects are alleged to have been involved in a robbery case in West Bengal before fleeing to Tamil Nadu in an attempt to evade arrest.

Following their arrest, legal procedures were initiated to transfer the accused to West Bengal for further investigation and court proceedings.
