World leaders intensified diplomatic discussions today as the G7 Summit in France focused heavily on international security, ongoing conflicts, energy stability, and global economic resilience.

A major part of the agenda centered on the war in Ukraine and efforts to maintain international coordination for future peace negotiations. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy joined summit discussions while leaders reaffirmed support for diplomatic solutions and long-term regional stability.

At the same time, attention remained on developments in the Middle East following diplomatic progress between the United States and Iran. Leaders discussed shipping security, energy supply routes, and measures to reduce economic disruption linked to the Strait of Hormuz.

Economic concerns also shaped talks. According to the IMF, the global economy has avoided a major slowdown for now, but policymakers warned that geopolitical uncertainty, energy prices, and supply-chain pressure continue to pose risks.

French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized international cooperation as governments seek stronger coordination on security, diplomacy, and economic stability during a period of heightened global uncertainty.
