The Indian Institute of Technology Madras successfully hosted its first-ever Technology Summit in New Delhi on May 5, 2026. The event was inaugurated by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and aimed at strengthening collaboration between academia, industry, and government.

The summit was conducted under the theme “From IITM. For Bharat. Building Together.”, highlighting the importance of transforming academic research into real-world solutions.
