Hyderabad, September 29, 2026: The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) intensified its enforcement drive against unauthorised constructions, demolishing 15 structures across its three zones on Tuesday.
According to the CMC, enforcement teams identified 15 unauthorised constructions during field-level inspections and carried out demolitions against all of them. The teams also served two notices in cases requiring further action under the prescribed procedure.
The demolitions were spread across the corporation’s three zones. Six structures were demolished in Quthbullapur, five in Serilingampally and four in Kukatpally, according to the civic body’s statement.
The action forms part of an ongoing enforcement campaign aimed at identifying construction violations and ensuring compliance with applicable building regulations across Cyberabad.
Six CMC teams are continuing field-level inspections across the three zones. Officials have been instructed to identify violations, document cases and take follow-up action according to established procedures.
The intensified enforcement comes amid a broader crackdown on unauthorised buildings in Cyberabad. Earlier inspections have resulted in repeated demolitions across Serilingampally, Kukatpally and Quthbullapur, with the civic body maintaining that action will continue against identified violations.
In a separate recent enforcement drive, CMC teams had demolished 19 unauthorised under-construction buildings across the same three zones and served notices to other property owners. The repeated inspections indicate that enforcement activity is being conducted on an ongoing basis rather than as a one-time operation.
CMC Commissioner G Srijana has directed officials to maintain continuous monitoring and ensure timely follow-up on identified cases. The corporation said enforcement teams would continue inspections across its jurisdiction to curb unauthorised construction activity.
The civic body’s continued action highlights the importance of obtaining the required building permissions and following approved construction plans. Property owners and developers found violating building regulations may face enforcement action under the applicable procedures.
With inspections continuing across all three zones, CMC officials are expected to maintain regular field monitoring and take action against further unauthorised constructions identified during the ongoing drive.
