The Delhi government and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in culture, tourism and academic activities. The agreement is intended to create greater opportunities for cultural exchange and promote Delhi’s cultural and tourism potential. Cooperation between government institutions and organisations involved in international cultural relations can help showcase Indian traditions, heritage and educational initiatives to international audiences. The partnership also provides a framework for activities that connect cultural programmes with tourism and academic engagement. Delhi is home to several important historical monuments, museums, cultural institutions and educational centres, making it a significant destination for both domestic and international visitors. The MoU is therefore expected to support collaboration across different areas rather than focusing on a single cultural programme
