India is set for another busy day at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, with athletes competing across shooting, athletics, kabaddi, table tennis, hockey, squash, swimming and other disciplines. The Games are bringing together athletes from across Asia in one of the region’s biggest sporting events. On September 25, Indian competitors are scheduled to take part in several medal events and knockout contests. Shooting includes the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions and the 10m air pistol mixed team competition. India’s men’s and women’s kabaddi teams are also involved in semifinal action. Athletics will feature Indian competitors in sprint and field events, while table tennis and squash provide further opportunities for the Indian contingent. India entered the day with 17 medals—one gold, seven silver and nine bronze—after a strong previous day that included medals in athletics, rowing, shooting and wushu. The Asian Games continue through October 4, with athletes competing in 43 sports. Indian fans will be following the results closely as the country’s medal campaign progresses
