Thiruvananthapuram, July 30: The Kerala Government has launched ‘Project Zero’, a statewide anti-corruption awareness campaign aimed at encouraging young people to play an active role in promoting transparency, integrity, and accountability in public life. The initiative seeks to build a culture of zero tolerance towards corruption by engaging students, educational institutions, and local communities across the state.
The programme is being implemented with the objective of creating greater public awareness about ethical governance and civic responsibility. Through seminars, workshops, awareness campaigns, and community outreach activities, Project Zero aims to educate students and young citizens about the importance of honesty, transparency, and responsible citizenship in building a corruption-free society.
Government officials stated that educational institutions will play a central role in the campaign by organizing discussions, awareness programmes, and activities that encourage students to identify and reject corrupt practices in everyday life. The initiative also promotes public vigilance by encouraging citizens to report corruption through appropriate legal and administrative channels.
The Kerala Government believes that involving the younger generation is essential for creating long-term social change.
