Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant, particularly in landslide-prone hilly regions and low-lying areas vulnerable to flooding, as the active southwest monsoon continues to influence weather conditions across the state.
According to the latest forecast, several districts are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds and lightning. Disaster management authorities have advised the public to closely monitor official weather bulletins and comply with instructions issued by local administrations. People living near rivers, streams, and unstable hill slopes have been asked to remain cautious as persistent rainfall may increase the risk of flash floods, waterlogging, and landslides.
