Bengaluru, July 30: Bengaluru is set to host the 14th edition of INDIA NANO 2026, India’s flagship international nanotechnology conference and exhibition, from August 3 to 5, 2026. The event will bring together leading researchers, scientists, startup founders, industry executives, investors, and policymakers to explore the future of nanotechnology and its convergence with artificial intelligence (AI).

Organized by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka, under the guidance of the Vision Group on Nanotechnology, the conference is themed “Nanotech’s Next Frontier: AI & Beyond – Conceive, Converge, Commercialize.” This year’s edition aims to accelerate the commercialization of research by connecting scientific discoveries with industry applications and investment opportunities.

The first day of the event will feature specialized pre-conference tutorials, providing participants with hands-on learning in advanced semiconductor manufacturing, AI and machine learning for science and engineering, and nano characterization techniques. The main conference on August 4 and 5 will include keynote addresses, technical sessions, industry roundtables, startup showcases, technology demonstrations, and business-to-business networking opportunities.

Several focused sessions will examine the role of nanotechnology in semiconductors, healthcare, agriculture, energy, and environmental sustainability. Experts will also discuss how AI can enhance nanoscale research, advanced manufacturing, medical diagnostics, smart materials, and next-generation computing technologies. Industry leaders believe the event will strengthen collaboration between academia, government, and private enterprises while promoting India’s growing deep-tech ecosystem.

With Bengaluru already recognized as India’s leading technology and innovation hub, INDIA NANO 2026 is expected to reinforce the city’s position in cutting-edge scientific research and deep-tech entrepreneurship. Organizers say the conference will serve as a global platform for innovation, enabling partnerships, attracting investment, and accelerating the development of commercially viable technologies that can address future industrial and societal challenges.
