The Tamilar 4.0 Global Business Summit commenced in Chennai, bringing together more than 500 Tamil entrepreneurs, industrialists, investors, and business professionals from across India and several countries to strengthen business partnerships and promote global investment opportunities.
The two-day summit was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Speaker JCD Prabhakar. Participants from the UAE, Oman, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United States, and several European nations joined the event to explore opportunities in trade, technology, manufacturing, agriculture, and startups.
Organized by the Confederation of Tamil Agriculture, Commerce, Industry and Services (CTASIS), the summit aims to strengthen connections between Tamil entrepreneurs worldwide while encouraging innovation, investment, and economic collaboration. Panel discussions, networking sessions, and business exhibitions are being held throughout the event.
Industry leaders said the summit highlights Chennai’s growing importance as a business and investment destination in South India, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship, exports, and international collaboration.
