Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Hyderabad on May 10 for multiple official events and a major public meeting at Parade Grounds. Authorities have announced extensive security arrangements across the city ahead of the visit.

According to reports, Modi will arrive at Begumpet Airport before attending project inaugurations, visiting a private hospital in Hitech City, and later addressing a large BJP public gathering at Parade Grounds. BJP leaders expect a huge crowd from across Telangana for the event.

The Telangana government and Hyderabad police have intensified preparations following high-level review meetings. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao instructed all departments to ensure “zero-error” coordination for security, traffic management, medical support, and uninterrupted power supply during the Prime Minister’s visit.

Special security protocols are being implemented around Begumpet Airport, Hitech City, and Parade Grounds. Authorities are expected to impose traffic diversions and restrictions on drones and other aerial devices in sensitive zones as part of standard security measures for VVIP movement.

Political observers say the Hyderabad visit is significant because it is Modi’s first major Telangana rally after beginning his third term as Prime Minister. BJP leaders are treating the event as an important campaign push ahead of upcoming civic elections in the Greater Hyderabad region.

The public meeting is also expected to focus on development projects, infrastructure expansion, women’s welfare initiatives, and the BJP’s future strategy in Telangana. Reports indicate that special trains and thousands of buses are being arranged to mobilize supporters for the rally.
