A youth has been arrested for allegedly pelting stones at the Vande Bharat Express near Angamaly, causing damage to the train’s windows. The incident raised concerns over passenger safety and railway security in the region.

According to officials, the stone-pelting occurred while the train was passing through the area, resulting in broken window panes. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported among passengers, but the incident created panic onboard.

The Kerala Police launched an immediate investigation and used CCTV footage from nearby locations to identify the suspect. Based on the visual evidence and further inquiries, the accused was traced and taken into custody.
