The Saudi Conventions & Exhibitions General Authority (SCEGA) announced the successful conclusion of IMS25 in Riyadh on November 27, 2025, with a record turnout and major global commitments to the business-events sector. More than 3,000 participants from 76 countries — including government officials, global CEOs, event-industry leaders, and tourism professionals — attended the summit, making it the largest edition of the conference to date.

Over the two-day summit, IMS25 unveiled 20 new commercial agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs), representing a combined global revenue of over USD 9 billion. A robust agenda featuring more than 90 speakers and moderators from 21 countries delivered 22 plenary sessions and 4 workshops, covering topics such as sustainable venue design, innovation in MICE, talent development, and the evolving role of business events under the umbrella of global economic growth.

The summit highlighted the growing ambition of Saudi Arabia — under the Vision 2030 plan — to position itself as a premier global hub for conferences, exhibitions, and international events. Several major event-organiser companies announced new offices and expansions into the Kingdom, and plans were unveiled for new global events to be hosted in Saudi Arabia.

With its record attendance, landmark deals, and wide international participation, IMS25 is being hailed as a turning point for the global MICE industry — setting the stage for major growth in business tourism, infrastructure investment, and cross-border collaboration.
