Hyderabad-based PULSUS Group has announced a major investment of ₹500 crore to expand its AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation Hub in Ameenpur, Telangana. The announcement follows a Supreme Court decision that upheld the facility’s status as an IT/ITeS park and Special Economic Zone (SEZ), removing regulatory uncertainties surrounding the project.
The expansion is expected to strengthen Telangana’s position as a leading destination for artificial intelligence and healthcare technology. Located on a 35-acre campus near Miyapur, the hub focuses on developing AI-driven healthcare solutions, digital health platforms, medical research technologies, and pharmaceutical innovations. Officials believe the project will play a key role in transforming healthcare delivery through advanced technology.
One of the most significant aspects of the project is its employment potential. The company has stated that the expansion could generate around 6,000 direct jobs and approximately 30,000 indirect employment opportunities across related sectors. These opportunities are expected to benefit professionals in healthcare, information technology, biotechnology, research, and data science.
The project also aligns with Telangana’s broader vision of becoming a global center for innovation and digital transformation. Over the past few years, Hyderabad has attracted investments from technology firms, pharmaceutical companies, and research institutions. The PULSUS expansion further strengthens the city’s reputation as one of India’s fastest-growing technology ecosystems.
Industry experts believe that investments in AI-powered healthcare can improve patient outcomes, accelerate medical research, and create high-value employment. As the project moves forward, it is expected to contribute significantly to Telangana’s economic growth and technological advancement.
