The subway will eliminate the dangerous practice of crossing active railway tracks on foot, a route frequently used by residents and commuters traveling between Malleswaram and surrounding areas.
For years, pedestrians have crossed railway tracks illegally to save time, despite repeated warnings from railway authorities.
