Thiruvananthapuram, July 18: The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala, has declared the Plus Two Save A Year (SAY) and Improvement Examination Results 2026, bringing relief to thousands of students who appeared for the supplementary examinations held between June 29 and July 3. The SAY examinations provide students with an opportunity to clear failed subjects or improve their marks without losing an academic year.
Students can access their results through the official DHSE result portals by entering their registration number and date of birth. The online scorecard includes subject-wise marks, overall result status, and revised grades where applicable. Schools will distribute the official mark sheets in the coming days.
Education officials stated that the SAY examination is an important initiative that allows eligible students to continue their higher education without interruption. Those who have successfully cleared the examination can now proceed with admissions to undergraduate courses and other higher education programmes for the current academic year.
Students who have improved their scores through the examination will receive updated marks that can be used during college admissions, depending on the admission guidelines of individual institutions. The DHSE has advised candidates to verify all personal details and marks on the provisional scorecard and immediately report any discrepancies to their respective schools or examination authorities.
To check the result, candidates should visit the official result website, click on the “Plus Two SAY/Improvement Result 2026” link, enter the required credentials, and download the provisional mark sheet for future reference. Due to heavy traffic on the websites immediately after the announcement, students may experience temporary delays and are advised to try again after some time if the portal is slow.
The declaration of the SAY results marks the completion of the 2026 Plus Two examination cycle in Kerala and enables thousands of students to move forward with higher education, professional courses, and career opportunities without waiting for another academic year.
