Hyderabad, July 29: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast generally cloudy skies over Hyderabad with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers during the day. The prevailing monsoon conditions are expected to keep temperatures pleasant, with daytime highs around 32°C and minimum temperatures near 23–24°C.

According to the IMD, no weather warning has been issued for the city, indicating that widespread severe weather is not expected. However, brief showers accompanied by gusty winds and isolated thunderstorms may occur in some parts of Hyderabad, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours.

The intermittent rainfall is likely to provide relief from daytime heat but may also lead to waterlogging in low-lying areas and slower traffic during peak commuting hours. Motorists have been advised to drive cautiously on wet roads and allow extra travel time if showers develop.

The IMD’s extended forecast indicates that similar weather conditions will continue over the next few days, with generally cloudy skies and occasional rain or thundershowers before conditions gradually become partly cloudy towards the weekend.

Residents are advised to keep umbrellas handy and stay updated with official weather advisories.
