Continuous rainfall over the past few days has caused rivers to swell, inundated low-lying areas, and increased the risk of landslides in hilly regions. State disaster management agencies and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) are closely monitoring the situation as more rain is forecast in the coming days.
Several districts have reported waterlogging, traffic disruptions, and localized flooding, affecting transportation and daily life.
