The Kerala Water Authority (KWA) has announced a ₹200-crore infrastructure upgrade aimed at strengthening the drinking water supply system in Thiruvananthapuram. The project is designed to modernize the city’s aging water distribution network, improve supply reliability, and meet the growing demand from residential, commercial, and institutional consumers. The initiative forms part of the state’s long-term strategy to enhance urban water infrastructure and ensure uninterrupted access to safe drinking water.
