Persistent monsoon rainfall continues to affect transportation, public services, and daily activities in many parts of India. Several cities reported waterlogged roads, traffic congestion, and temporary disruptions to train and bus services due to continuous downpours.

Municipal authorities have activated emergency response teams to clear blocked drains, remove fallen trees, and restore normal movement. Disaster management teams remain on alert in flood-prone districts, while local administrations are closely monitoring river levels and weather forecasts.

Health officials have also advised citizens to take precautions against waterborne diseases by consuming safe drinking water and maintaining hygiene during the rainy season. Farmers have welcomed improved rainfall for crop cultivation but remain concerned about excessive rain damaging fields.

The IMD expects monsoon activity to remain active over several regions during the next few days, and citizens are encouraged to follow official advisories and avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rainfall
