The Transport Minister of Kerala inaugurated the renovated depot of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) in Ernakulam, introducing improved facilities for passengers and staff. The upgraded depot now includes better waiting areas, improved ticket counters, and enhanced sanitation facilities. Authorities also introduced better lighting, upgraded signboards, and improved safety measures within the depot premises. These changes aim to make the bus station more comfortable and accessible for passengers, including elderly travelers and people with disabilities.
The Transport Minister highlighted that strengthening public transport infrastructure is an important priority for the state government.
